Introduction
The Employees’ Choice Awards (ECA) program honours organizations within Canada’s National Capital Region that recognize employees as their greatest asset. These are organizations that work with imagination and conviction to create organizational value and business results through their policies and best practices in human resource management. The selection, recognition and awarding of the Employees’ Choice Awards allows organizations to demonstrate why they are an ideal place for employees to work.
The 2010-11 recipients of the ECA will be selected by a selection committee based on the participating organizations' employee opinion survey scores and employee comments. The Employees’ Choice Awards program is operated by the Ottawa Business Journal and the selection committee consists of volunteer experts from various Ottawa organizations.
The raw survey data will be collated and analyzed by TalentMap. An independent committee will determine the recipients.
